Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI) is a fast-paced and growing organization dedicated to research at the intersection of religion, values, and public life. PRRI conducts approximately 20 surveys per year, including a monthly “Religion News Poll” in partnership with Religion News Service, along with major national surveys on a variety of important issues including immigration reform, abortion and reproductive rights, global warming, religious pluralism, and gay and lesbian issues. Our research is consistently featured in top news outlets such as CNN, NPR, The Washington Post, The New York Times, and others. PRRI is a non-profit, non-partisan research organization.
The Communications Director will be responsible for developing and managing PRRI’s overall communications strategy, including marketing and branding strategies for the organization and its research products. The Communications Director will be responsible for increasing PRRI’s visibility and promoting PRRI research among the media, policy-makers, academics, and the general public. We offer one Graduate Research Fellowship for currently enrolled graduate students each summer, and one Research and Communications Internship for currently enrolled undergraduate students during the fall, spring and summer.
Both positions work closely with the Research Director and the Senior Editor and Writer, assisting with a variety of tasks related to media outreach, online communications and research.
