Dr. Jennifer Kates, vice president and director of global health and HIV policy at the Kaiser Family Foundation, discusses the findings of PRRI’s new survey on same-sex marriage and LGBT-related issues.
This weekend, Dr. Robert P. Jones appeared on State of Belief radio to discuss guns and sports with the host, Rev. Welton Gaddy. Drawing from PRRI’s most recent surveys, Dr. Jones explored changes in opinion on gun control issues over the past six months, including last December’s tragic shooting in Sandy Hook, Connecticut. Over this time, support for stricter gun control legislation jumped eight points.
Meanwhile, just days before the Super Bowl, Dr. Jones and Rev. Gaddy debated the weekend’s most pressing question: who is God rooting for? Nearly 3-in-10 (27%) Americans say that God influences the outcome of sporting events.
