PRRI Announces New Monthly Religion News Poll
09.15.2010

Today we officially announced our new partnership with Religion News Service to provide a monthly poll on issues pulled from the headlines.  The PRRI/RNS Religion News Poll will survey Americans on a different religion topic each month, taking a snapshot of opinions on issues of the day.

We did a soft launch of the poll last month, focusing on the proposed Park51 Islamic center and mosque near the former site of the World Trade Center.  Read the Religion News Service story.

This month’s poll will be released tomorrow afternoon.

From our CEO, Robert P. Jones:

We are exceptionally excited about this unique partnership with Religion News Service.  This poll, which will take the monthly pulse of Americans, will be a rich resource for journalists, academics and the public for increasing understanding o the important role of religion in public life.
